Contact: Jim Wedding, Revenue Manager, 962-2703
The City of Loveland’s Utility Billing Division is implementing a more secure, convenient and user-friendly online payment system for our customers. The new and improved interface provided by our partner, Paymentus, provides myriad benefits to customers, enabling them to pay their bills faster, easier, more conveniently and more securely.
The new features include: an improved user experience; a “Pay Now” feature that allows for quick payment without having to register an account; and registered account enhancements include viewing and paying multiple accounts at once, viewing payment history and past billing statements. These enhancements are arriving on Tuesday, Aug. 29, including the ability to securely save your payment information if you choose, and the opportunity to schedule automatic payments from your checking account or credit card. Consumption information will be available sometime in the future.
Additionally, the City’s Utility Billing Division is implementing a new automated phone payment system with features such as quick account balance review and payment with a credit card, debit card, or eCheck, and an easy-to-use call flow.
Both Phone and online payments will continue to be offered free of service fees. Paymentus accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and electronic checks.
“We are excited about these changes and they reflect our continued commitment to provide a superior customer service experience,” said Jim Wedding, Revenue Manager for the City. “We recognize that customers want flexibility, accessibility, convenience and a user-friendly experience without sacrificing security. We believe these new features deliver them.”
