Prairie Ridge Natural Area Public Open House and Online Survey
The City of Loveland is hosting a public open house to solicit feedback on the development of a soft surface trail system at Prairie Ridge Natural Area, a 785-acre parcel located immediately south of Fort Collins’ Coyote Ridge Natural Area.
The public open house will be held on Monday, September 25, at Crossroads Church, 5420 North Taft Avenue (in the modular building behind the main church,) from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
An online survey is also available to help gauge user needs and preferences, and will be open through Thursday, October 12, 2017. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/W3HV7FC
Preliminary plans include a 1-mile ADA accessible trail segment, a 3-mile easy trail loop, a restroom, parking lot, and potential regional connections to Coyote Ridge, Rim Rock Open Space, and Loveland’s Recreation Trail.
The City of Loveland, City of Fort Collins and Larimer County have been cooperating to develop the Trail Master Plan and would like to hear your thoughts! For more information about the project, including links to the online survey and concept plans, visit www.cityofloveland.org/prairieridge.
