City’s annual grant allocation cycle underway

City of Loveland Human Services Grant funds totaling $500,000 will be available to non-profit agencies that provide services such as food, shelter, case management and childcare. Organizations interested in applying for these grant funds must submit a pre-application by Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018.
The Human Services Commission will hold two public meetings to provide information on the 2018 Human Services Grant process in the City Council Chambers, 500 E. Third St. at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8 and at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Both meetings will contain the same information.
New for 2018 is approximately $50,000 for non-profit agencies that are working on housing; either permanent, supportive housing, rapid rehousing or a combination. Information specific to these grants will be given at the end of the Human Services Commission meetings on Jan. 8 and Jan. 10.
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds totaling approximately $390,000 will be granted for brick and mortar projects that address housing or public facilities. Organizations interested in applying for these grant funds must submit a pre-application by Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018. The Affordable Housing Commission will hold one public meeting to provide information on the 2018 CDBG process at 3 p.m. on Jan. 8 in City Council Chambers, 500 E. Third St.
