Priscilla’s Shelf offers 10 book bag kits, each
with 10 copies of the same title and a binder of
supporting material. The shelves also feature
single copies of discussion suggestions, large
print and audio versions of kit titles when
available. Kits have a loan period of six weeks.

Priscilla's Shelf honors long-time Loveland
resident
and avid bookaholic Priscilla Beal.
Friends raised $8,000 to honor Beal on her 91st
birthday by buying the books and bags for the
library. Beal held book club meetings in
her home starting in 1965, led Junior Great Books
for 15 years, and started an Adult Great Books
group.
The baby-blue book bags feature a photo of
Priscilla.
