In
the next few months, collection of bagged trash will be phased out
and all City residential customers will be required to subscribe to
the new, All-Cart trash service.
Why an All-Cart
system?

-
Carts are safer for
residents because they're much easier to manage and roll to the
street than heavy, cumbersome bags.
-
Carts can be
mechanically dumped, which is safer for City workers and is more
efficient.
-
The all-cart system
requires fewer and less-expensive trucks.
-
Carts keep animals
from getting into your trash and making a mess.
When do I need to
subscribe to All-Cart trash service?
This new service will be phased in on a neighborhood by neighborhood
basis. Loveland households will receive a mailer with more
information and the date by which they need to subscribe to trash
cart service. The City aims to have all households transitioned to
cart service by early January, 2010. Your trash collection day will
remain the same.

What are my cart

17 gallon cart: $2.75 per month

▪
65 gallon cart: $11.00 per month

Do I have to bag my trash?
We encourage you to bag your trash before placing it in the cart.
This will keep your cart clean and reduce wind-blown litter when
the cart is dumped into the truck. It will also minimize animal and
insect problems.
