Loveland Banner Specifications
- Banner size must be
3 feet wide and no
longer than 25 feet.
- ¾ moon shaped slits into the banners surface are
required, which allow air to flow.
- Banners must be made of canvas or reinforced vinyl.
- Print can be placed on both
sides of the banner (Red, green, and blue show up
well).
- Grommets must be fixed every
2 feet on top, bottom,
and all four corners.
- Snap hooks are required in all grommets.
Actual size of required snap hook is 4" long with ½"
opening, as shown below:

- Banners without all required grommets and snap hooks
will not be accepted.
- Recommended reinforcement of corners with leather or
another heavy duty type of material to help banner
withstand adverse weather conditions.
- Banners can hang for up to 10 days on East Eisenhower
Boulevard at the bridge near Garfield Avenue.
- There is no fee for hanging banners.
- Reservations can be made on a recurring annual basis,
if desired, but only one banner per organization, per
year to ensure room for all.
- Drop off and pick up location for all banners is the
Department of Water and Power, 200 N. Wilson Avenue.
