What is Paratransit?
Paratransit Service offers door-to-door transportation services within the federally mandated 3/4 of a mile of every fixed route, for individuals whose physical and/or mental disabilities PREVENT them from using fixed route bus service. This serviceOur goal is to provide independence and mobility for those who might otherwise be socially isolated. NOTICE: Dial-A-Ride will begin to provide Paratransit service, Monday April 2, 2018.
To help make this transition go as smoothly as possible, current City of Loveland Paratransit operators will be accompanying Dial-A-Ride operators for the first two weeks. This will allow us to introduce you to new drivers and Dial-A-Ride operators to get to know your individual needs.
During this transition, to schedule Paratransit rides:

On April 2, 2018, all Paratransit rides will be scheduled and provided by Dial-A-Ride, (970) 224-6066.
What does it cost?
The regular fare for a single trip is $2.00. Reduced fares of $1.00 are available for those who qualify. For more information on reduced rates please contact The House of Neighborly Service at
When can I use it?
Paratransit operates Monday through Saturday. Reservations are accepted the day before up to two weeks in advance.

How do I know if I'm eligible?
The first time you call, we will get your name and address in order to send you information and eligibility forms. After forms are completed you will send them back to COLT at 105 West Fifth Street, Loveland, Co 80537. What if I need to cancel my ride?
Passengers must call to cancel a reservation trip a minimum of two (2) hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time. Failure to give proper cancelation notice is defined as a “no-show”. Three (3) or more "no-shows" in a thirty (30) day period may result in a suspension of service. passenger who is not at the designated pick-up location and misses a scheduled trip is also defined as a “no-show”. How soon do I need to be ready?
You can help ensure Dial-A-Ride will get you to your destination on time by being ready at least 15 minutes before your pickup time, being prepared to wait up to 15 minutes after your pickup time, and watching for your driver. Drivers will wait no more than five minutes from the time of arrival for each rider. If your driver has not arrived within 15 minutes of your pickup time, please call (970) 224-6066..
