Hello! Thank you for taking the time to check
in on the Loveland Fire Department website and exploring this
section!
The Operations
Division of the Loveland Fire and Rescue Department is
made up of the Suppression and Training divisions. This
division is responsible for emergency and non-emergency response to the
community’s needs including; fire fighting in the Structural and
Wildland areas; providing emergency medical services in
conjunction with TVEMS;
hazardous
material response and mitigation;
dive
rescue, urban search and rescue,
and swat firefighting and rescue; as well as many other types of public
assistance.
This division is
also responsible for the
professional
development of
firefighters, engine operators, and officers (both career and
volunteer), while constantly evaluating our service to the
community. We are staffed with volunteer and career
firefighters consisting of one Division Chief, four Battalion
Chiefs, three Captains, 15 Lieutenants, 24 Engineers, 3 Fire
Investigation Technicians and 31
Firefighters (22 volunteer and 9 paid). Emergency service is provided by 5
fire engines,
1 ladder or rescue, 6
fire stations
and a training facility located in the 280 square miles of city and
rural areas encompassed by the department.
