Prosecutors are committed to the effective and efficient resolutions of these matters and strive to enforce the laws fairly, impartially and justly.

If you received a summons and complaint to appear in Loveland Municipal Court you may have several options, as follows:

1. If your summons and complaint is an eligible penalty assessment violation, you may mail the summons and complaint to the Loveland Municipal Court, located at 810 E 10th Street, Suite #200, Loveland, CO 80537, together with payment in the amount listed on the summons and complaint. Examples of penalty assessment violations include, but are not limited to, speeding 10-19MPH over the limit, parking violations, minor traffic accidents not resulting in careless driving and equipment related violations.

2. If your summons and complaint is not an eligible penalty assessment violation, you must appear in court. During your appearance you will have the following options:

a. Plead guilty or no contest

c. Speak with the prosecutor about your case
