both Area #1 and Area #2 for
the same reservation date or time.

Not available for use by groups of more than 50 people.
Parking strictly limited to 14 spaces (across bridge only).

(Open Grassy Area-NO SHELTER)

Reservations are not
permitted in either area on a holiday date, or during a
holiday weekend. This is due to overcrowding in the park,
and conflicts with general public parking and overflow
usage.

Please do not expect entry to the park from
the beginning
of December '09 thru March '10, (with expected
opening of the park in the
beginning
of April '10).

for Viestenz-Smith Mountain Park
(PDF):
- Do not remove, destroy, or injure any natural or manmade park feature or
facility.
- No overnight camping.
- No gathering or cutting firewood,
no open fires.
- No placing hibachis or other low grills on the grass.
- Use of firearms and fireworks strictly prohibited.
- No swimming, diving, fishing or boating on the Tailrace Pond.
- No river access for tubing, boating, kayaking, or similar activities.
- Failure to obey park closing times, allowing unruliness by intoxicated
group members or harassment of park employees is cause for a
forfeiture of deposits on reservations.
- Facility Use and Alcohol Permits must be available at facility during
time of use by patron.
