On March
29th, 2010 at 7 p.m., the Police Department will host a community
Open House to provide an overview of the gang activity in Loveland. Officers
from the Street Crime Unit will present a slide show to demonstrate what the
police officers are seeing related gang activity, describe enforcement efforts,
and provide information regarding the role of the community in mitigating gangs
in Loveland. The meeting will take place in the Loveland Police Institute and
the public is invited.
The flu season is here! We do not know how
severely that illness will affect our employees. The Loveland Police Department
does not anticipate any change in our level of service to the community.
However, if our employees and/or their families become sick and the number of
officers is reduced we will consider the following:

Emergency and high priority calls for police service shall continue to be
handled first.
·
Lower priority calls for service may be delayed. We will advise you of the
possible length of delay and ask if you want to call back. We will also attempt
to assist you by telephone.
Our desire is to continue to provide the public
with effective and timely police services when you call. Thank you.
