Colorado Children's Day-This
events celebrates children in Loveland
and offers them a free day of fun and
activities at City of Loveland
facilities. Volunteers are needed
on event day to assist with booths.
It is held the first Wednesday in
March from 12pm - 5pm.
Teen Easter Egg Hunt-Teens like
searching for Easter Eggs too! We know
this because of the HUGE success we've
had for the last three years with over
1,300 teens in attendance! Help is
needed prior to this event to stuff eggs
and on the Friday night before Easter
from 6pm-10pm.
Cherry Pie Celebration-This
family event features live music,
dancing, and cherry pie for sale.
Volunteers are needed to help serve pie
and set up the event. Help is
needed 3pm-9pm on the second Friday in
July.
Independence Day-Assistance is
needed for a few hours the day after the
fourth of July celebration to help clean
up North Lake Park after the
festivities.
Halloween Family Fun Festival-Features
entertainment, games, food, downtown
trick-or-treating and a costume contest
with awesome prizes! A great event for
all families, the festival is held on
the Saturday before Halloween in Peters
Park next to the Loveland
Museum/Gallery. Help is needed from
7am-3pm on the last Saturday in October.
Ski and Sports Swap-In the fall,
the Parks and Recreation department
hosts this sports equipment sale and
swap to help our community.
Assistance is needed to organize
equipment and conduct swaps.
