Beginning in April 2010, the Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) will be offering rebates for Colorado residents and businesses that install energy efficiency measures and renewable energy measures. We encourage you to apply! Funding for rebates are provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.  All rebates are offered statewide on a first-come first-serve basis.  For general questions, please contact the Rebate Team at rebates@state.co.us or visit the  GEO's webpage.

At this time, the GEO anticipates offering rebates for the following energy efficiency measures: Energy audits Insulation and air sealing measures Duct sealing Clothes washers Dish washers Refrigerators Water heaters (gas tankless, gas high performance and gas condensing) Furnaces (gas condensing) Boilers (gas) Energy monitors ENERGY STAR® New Homes (for homebuilders) At this time, the GEO anticipates offering rebates for the following renewable energy measures: Solar Electric - Photovoltaic (PV) Solar domestic hot water Small wind Please note: The GEO rebates will not be retroactive. This means that measures installed before the GEO launches the program will be ineligible for rebates.   Not all products and services will qualify for a rebate. You should not choose a product or service for purchase until the program has launched and you and your contractor (if applicable) have reviewed and understand all of the program criteria.
